Terminal Strip
Electronics Projects
The aim of this section is for young people with no experience of electronics to produce working circuits and which only cost a small amount of money.
Terminal strips were chosen as there is no soldering, errors can be quickly corrected and they cost around 35p (Screwfix 3A terminal strips).
The only down side to their use is that the leads of some modern components need to be slightly extended. A competent adult can very quickly do this by soldering pieces of stripped single core wire onto the component leads. Alternatively, a piece of stripped single core wire can be bent to form a joint with the lead.
