  • This web site is a major supplier of electronic components and modules in America.
    It is a great resource for information on components and electronic modules for coursework.

  • SPICE-Based Analog Simulation Program.
    This is released by Texas Instruments for verifying the performance of their analogue devices.
    Its use in Education is not sanctioned as it is part of a larger commercial package.
    It is excellent and is ideal for students to test analogue circuits.

  • Agilent (used to be HP) make excellent (and expensive) test equipment.
    This site contains details of experiments and tutorials in Electronics.
    More suited to first year university studies.

    Contains a list of many other such sites.

    Contains many videos on a wide range of subjects.

  • Maplin Ltd is a major supplier of electronic components and equipment.

  • Modular Circuit Design
  • Modular Circuit Design enables students to create a unique circuit bycombining a range of schematic modules. Advice is given on how to join up modules to make a complete circuit, and the latest version includes a section on PIC, including PICAXE, a system which enables programs to be written in BASIC and downloaded without a programmer.

    It also provides training opportunities and resources for teachers.

    You have to register with the site but that then gives you access to the extensive library of data and information.
